Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Camino Community Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. CCC  members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as meal ministry to being a greeter on Sunday Morning, to leading others in worship.

Leadership Teams

Because we care for you and your family, the leadership teams of CCC are committed to the serving you. We want to make certain that every member and family in our church experiences the love and support of the whole congregation. Ministryleaders and coordinators serve alongside the Pastor and Elder Team to ensure that the physical needs of people are cared for. They plan and deliver meals, plan events, and facilitate children’s ministry. They are a team of lively individuals who love serving God and people.

Music and Drama

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and drama ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others get involved in drama. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Camino Community Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Greeters and Assimilation Team

The Greeting Team at Camino Community Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. This team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Mission Outreach

Camino Community Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and our prayers. The  missionaries from Camino Community Church are located in these countries—USA, Papua New Guinea, Guam, Guatemala, and Spain. Occasionally, a small team from our church travels to other countries to assist other missionaries in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Media and Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Camino Community Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain a Facebook Page for additional church communication.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Camino Community Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty.  Throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team pray for our pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.

Beach Camp Counselors

Each summer, Camino Community Church hosts a Beach camp for Jr. High and High School Students. The week-long event involves games, a lot of preaching, great food, good worship, and the intentional influence of camp counselors. The camp counselors are selected, screened, and trained for this important camp ministry. They find that their ministry is personally rewarding, and both campers and counselors grow in the process.

Mercy Ministry
The Mercy ministry mobilizes God’s resources to care for His people. This area is responsible to proactively reach out to meet the needs of the church body and the community. This is accomplished by ministry teams designed to target specific needs. Examples of these teams include hospital and home visitation,  bereavement support, prayer chain, and transportation ministries along with a host of yet to be designated internal and community outreach ministries. This includes the maintenance of the church food pantry where food is distributed to those in need in and out of the Body.

Buildings and Grounds
The mission of this committee is to maintain the physical properties of the church.  These include the worship center, classrooms, Family Room and the park.  This committee is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of church facilities.  These tasks include building repairs and maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and other duties when they arise.  The duties are performed through a combination of volunteer labor and contracted services.  Members of the committee serve as leaders for recruitment and organization of volunteers.
