WHAT IS GRAND PRIX?

Grand Prix is a special AWANA event in which all participants, with the help of a parent, create their very own cars from kits consisting of a block of wood and a set of wheels and axles.  They then race head-to-head with other clubbers on race day.  The top designs and fastest cars receive special awards while all competing clubbers earn a participation ribbon.

WHEN & WHERE IS THE AWANA GRAND PRIX?

Our AWANA Grand Prix will be held on Wednesday, April 26th. We’ll start at 6:30 with light dinner, a short devotional by Pastor Elijah and then let the races begin. Call the church office -530-644-2828 for more information.

WHAT DO PARENTS NEED TO DO?

Come early because we are going to be weighing each car. Remember each cannot weigh more than 5 ounces.

DO THE DIFFERENT CLUBS RACE AT THE SAME TIME?

There is an AWANA division and an open division because adults like to get into it as well. Then the AWANA winner will race the Open Division winner

ARE THERE PRIZES?

Design and Speed Trophies will be awarded.  All participants will get a participation ribbon.

CAN OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS COME TO WATCH?

Of course.  This is a great opportunity to bring family and friends.
